Once the installer has marked the locations on the walls, holes are drilled for the installation of communications connecting the air conditioning units and the drainage hose. To prevent dust contamination, a vacuum cleaner is used to collect debris. The drainage hose, which removes moisture from the air conditioner, can be directed to the sewage system, stormwater drainage, a foundation, or another suitable location. If necessary, wall chases are created to route the communications between the air conditioning units within the chases.
